Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!
As per usual ...
1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to mid to late August
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Will keep going with Morton. High floor and should make the NHL this year.

I'm going with Morton. 1g in 1GP at the NHL level is enough for me at this stage of the poll.

Morton turned 26 yesterday. I like him but I cant vote for him over an 18 yr old kid on the trajectory Wyttenbach is on (as well as many other actual prospect age players remaining on the list).
Ill probably have a grouping of Hoskin, Lane, Bell and Zarubin next.

Morton this round, only because he is so close to having a regular NHL job compared to everyone else on the list. After him, I'm going purely on ceiling for a player. In no particular order, my next 5 are: Wyttenbach (if he doesn't go this round), Lane, Phillips, Hoskin, and Zarubin.

Aidan Lane is going to surprise quite a few people this year i think. Pleasantly.

I agree - I think one, if not both, Wyttenbach and Lane could shoot up this ranking next year. Excited to follow their seasons!
For that reason - I agree that it’s hard to know where to rank 26 year old Morton.

Bold prediction: Two prospects ranked 20 or lower will become a top-6 forward, top 4 dman, or starting goaltender in the NHL.
Hoskin for the 5th time in a row!

Went Morton but agree his age is working against him. He’s NHL ready and should play at least some this year.
Zarubin, Hoskin, and Wyttenbach carry the greatest upside and should go in the next few rounds.

Wyttenbach based on the arguments here.
I am going for Jamieson next.
A 6'3" LD hometown boy who fits a need in Calgary's system.
He played on the top pair this season with (future Flame) Landon Dupont, showing that he can compliment top players. He committed to play in Denver next season which will be great for his development. He is hard-nosed but can also put up points (14 goals is nothing to sneeze at).

Time and time again, I find myself feeling like I get the least amount of value from Bader's model vs all the others.

Pretty awesome that we're 20 deep now and still have several prospects to choose from that get rave reviews from some prospect models and/or scouts.
Wyttenbach
Lane
Jameison
Zarubin under the radar because he's a Russian goalie that hasn't come over yet
Phillips with his tremendous size
Grushnikov a former second rounder
Hoskin with a nice trajectory last season

Zarubin and Wyttenbach are the end of this current set for me- though suspect I may be voting Zarubin for a while
I think my next tier (order TBD but some may be gone by the time I vote next) will include Jamieson, Morton, Hoskin, Yegorov and Phillips or Grushnikov- even after this set I think there are about 3 more prospects I would still consider 'interesting'

Voted Morton. Only realizing now that he's a couple years older than I thought he was... so that'll knock him down a few rounds for me going forward.

Zarubin again. Strong chance he's an NHL starter in the future.

I’ve been voting Lane for this reason for a few rounds now. He’s one of my favourite Flames picks from this year’s draft.

Went grush, if he were to win he'd be 9 spots back from last season, tying Poirier for biggest fall.
