Flames deserved better, easily the better team at 5v5. Took too many penalties though and special teams aren't great and cost them. The type of game you lose usually before you bust out of a slump.
On to the next one.

Jake Bean is the poster child for nepotism. Many younger players could do what he is doing and actually get some NHL experience.
That play was textbook what not to do late in a tie game.Skate deep, throw abad angle shot on net to send the puck rushing back the other way. Might as well play Parekh with Wegar. At least he will get better.

A good effort and in fact a good game to watch. Just not enough skill or finish on this team. Which is fine as long as the org leans into that and doesn't try to fix things to save a season.

Lift the puck in close and HIT THE FRICKEN NET
What a frustrating team. Also give Parekh MORE ICE TIME. Don’t wait for the other D to yield the go ahead goals and bring him on in the last 5 mins.
Try playing him 20 mins and on PP1. This isn’t rocket science dumbasses

Team tank dream season it looks like.
And honestly, as far as style points go, they're not doing it in the worst way. The games have been competitive.
