LOST stuff
First - just a head's up that this Wed there is finally a new eppy of Lost.
Second, I think one of the best things about the show is how it is marketed through the Internet. You'll recall that there was a site where the URL was the flight number of the airplane(i can't remember it right now). Well there is a new small web site set up now:
http://www.thehansofoundation.org
The Hanso Foundation were the people that made the video they watched in the underground complex. The site doesn't really provide any spoiler info or anything truly informative, but I thought it was kinda cool that they took the time to create the site.

have any of you guys tried out some program a guy made, that replicates having to type in the numbers, before the timer counts down to zero? ya that's getting pretty disturbing if you find that a priority...

Hahaha, I saw that as well. First time I've seen Walt speak English in months.

Me, too. I guess the first half of Wednesday's double-header is a recap so we can catch up!

A very worrying article just came out, making me wonder whether it might be better to abandon the show now rather than getting more caught up in it.
"Basically, 'Lost' is one of those things," says executive producer Carlton Cuse, "where you have to appreciate the journey and try not to worry about the endpoint. We're not in control of the endpoint."
. . . .
No doubt Libby's revelations will answer a few questions but also add to the ever-growing list of inexplicable things on the island, which includes unseen monsters, a polar bear, underground bunkers, a slave ship and a horse.
On the other hand, if you're a dedicated fan of J.J. Abrams' other ABC show, the spy drama "Alias" -- which has a plot so convoluted that explaining it could cause a cerebral hemorrhage -- you've long since learned not to sweat the small stuff.
"We suggest you do the same on 'Lost,'" Lindelof says. "That's between the lines here. If you're watching the show because you're waiting for the big answers to come, you have to understand that by the nature of what it is -- it's not a movie, it's not a series of movies, it's not a trilogy, it's not a miniseries -- it's going to be on the air for as long as ABC wants to keep it on the air.
"How can you ever possibly think that 'Lost' will end in a satisfying way? Carlton and I can almost guarantee you that it will not."
So basically: "Hey, all those questions and mysteries we keep throwing in. . . . don't expect to ever get answers. Don't worry about what happened in the show before, just keep watching to see what happens next."

I read the article a little differently.
"The reality is," Lindelof says, "that Carlton, myself, J.J. [co-creator J.J. Abrams], the creative brains behind the 'Lost' universe, we could all band together and say, 'We're ending the show after three seasons because that's the arc. They get off the island, and we reveal all the things we want to reveal.'
"And the network would say, 'No, you won't.' They will hire somebody and do 'Lost,' with or without you."
So as I read it, they aren't saying how long the series will be, or if they will answer all the questions, or if they answer some; then what questions they will answer.
No spoilers.

I think they've given us enough information to leave it up to our imagination. Really the only thing I want explained right now it how the computer's working like it is.
Loche typed before the 4 minute mark and nothing, however Michael's carrying on a conversation?
I can't wait for tonight's episode.
