Good Duffy vs Bad Duffy

I hope this isnt a FATA - I looked and didnt see anything which is peculiar.

Not sure why this hasnt been posted yet, but after the French Language Debate yesterday, CTV NN had the usual Mike Duffy round table of party supporters going over the debate.

Everything was going as scripted untl Harper did his little 2 minute after debate speech, then Mike Duffy (Good Duffy from now on) asks John Duffy (Liberal Campaign employee - to be known as Bad Duffy from now on) about the 12 horesman adds the Left just released.

There is one specifically implying that the reason Stephen Harper wants to put a Batallion Detachment in each city isnt to help with recruiting and natural disasters but because he wants to have Canadian Soldiers patrolling Memorial and the +15 in Calgary.

Here is basically what happened before Harper's speech - the Cons rep and NDP rep were both firing shots at Bad Duffy repeatedly and they wouldnt let it go - I mean it was a shooting gallery. Bad Duffy response was basically that even thought the 12 horseman commercials were publically released on www.Liberal.ca and send to the media outlets that the werent publically released? and than why are we wasting time on this?

Mike Duffy did what he should have done to protect himself and his integrity . . . . . and he's always been a good reporter, treating both sides fairly evenly, one of the few ex-CBC guys I would actually say that about.

Of course, it took no time at all to put that up on the Conservative website!!!

Amusingly, he's been accused of Liberal bias by the Conservatives in the past.

As you've said before.... if both sides accuse you of bias, you're probably being well balanced in your coverage.
