Flames should only rely upon themselves to make the playoffs, not other teams to fail.

Come on man. The Flames aren’t even taking care of their own business tonight. This team wasn’t even supposed to be competing for a playoff spot. It was at least an enjoyable season on the whole.

The way this game is going, probably better it's decided before the Flames just blow it themselves

I welcome next season.
The Utah game too. Robbed of a clear goal.

Minny tying with 20 seconds left is a big kick in the nuts.

But yes, the Flames need to score more goals. Finishing third last in the league in goals for is not a recipe for winning games.

I'll add f### those two pucks that sat close enough to the very tip of the goal line that the league denied them. Terrible luck.

The hockey gods favor those who control their own destinies. The flames lost their control a while ago now, if anything recent luck has been on our side.

Meh, it was a great season for the net minders. We had some surprises on the blueline. It was a more enjoyable year then I was expecting and the prospect cupboard is nicely stacking up. It is what it is.

They have 2 regulation losses in 14 games

Blues won 12 straight
Wild are living off their start for months in end

Who would have thought that Columbus would last longer than Calgary. Crazy stuff.

It's amazing how reliably atrocious the out of town scoreboard tends to be. Every other team is putrid and useless.

Because they are in the east competing with a team that loses to Chicago
