Default April 12 with eleven games!

This is the final Super Saturday OOT of the regular season and it
has the usual quadruplet header of games! All of the games have
at least one team with something to play for. The big games are the
Habs-Leafs, Blues-Kraken, and Wild-Canucks. It's a great day for
hockey (Badger Bob). Take a shower after cheering for the Canucks.

I'll be cheering for the Canucks pretty hard. Also cheering for both roof to collapse taking both teams out. It's that kind of cheering.

Hopefully this devolves into some river hockey with lots of injuries. 9-5 Canucks. Kaprizov and Eriksson EK both reinjured. Nothing serious but both forced to sit out the last game of the year.

Vegas could lock up the division with a win against Nashville tonight. Then hopefully rest their good players when we play them next.

Hopefully by the time we play LA they've already locked up 2nd in the Pacific too.

I really really hate the canucks. But today I’m a big fan.

Also a big Kraken fan for 24 hours.

Eichel is day to day. He's definitely getting rested if Vegas cliches.

Flames are better when they face adversity. None of this up 3-1 late against a bottom feeder

It seems so crazy that there are two paths in with a favorable OOT. Either one of or both STL and MIN can lose 1 of their 2 remaining games and Flames control their own destiny.

Would be nice for morale if both teams lose tonight, that would motivate the Flames for SJ on Sunday.

I wonder what the odds would be of both STL and MIN winning all 4 games. I'm not a betting man, but I can't see that having good odds, 1 loss out of those 4 games sholuld be more likely.

It really is incredible when you step back.

Blues are only here because of 12 wins in a row.

Wild are hanging on after being top 3 in the league 2 months ago.
Canucks a disaster this season.

Flames have had 4 goals called back in the last 2 weeks, 2 of them very dubious. Some improbable comeback wins, and with recency bias in full effect, dropped points vs Oilers, Canucks and especially the Anaheim debacle in the last 2 weeks, would've had them in a playoff spot now.

I expect no OOT help against teams already out. Sure they are playing for pride and jobs, and Minnesota and St L are squeezing their sticks more given the last two games for each of them, so completely different dynamics for both teams in these games.

It really is fascinating that after all this, in a perfect Flames world, they will know going into that 3rd period vs Vegas on Tuesday, if they can clinch the playoffs that game.

The Flames have 2 paths through STL or MIN. Hopefully they both lose in regulation tonight.

Capitals get booted really hard, the Jets can pull ahead by 5 points for the Presidents Trophy with a win in Chicago tonight.
