Jets Prospect Chaz Lucius retires from hockey.

Diagnosed with EDS. Sucks when a truly talented player retires due to a medical condition.
Also explains so much about his injury history
Best of luck sir. You were a player I had hoped the Flames would draft.

That sucks. I never heard of it before, but reading up on it now, it sounds like it can be a serious condition especially if you play a contact sport.

I cant pretend to know much about him but it always sucks to see a player have to end it because of unfortunate health conditions.
I wish him the best in whatever he chooses to do after hockey.
I know they're hockey players and they're rough and tumble, but they're still people.
Good luck Chaz.

Diseases tend to be like that, alas.
Never mind hockey, EDS can be life-threatening, especially the vascular form of the disease. Hopefully, giving up contact sports will allow him to live a normal life for a normal lifespan.

A Jets prospect being forced to retire before he even begins his career by a disease named Ehlers is a bit wild.
Feel just awful for the kid.

Really? Well, I dont know anything about this disease, but Chaz did mention it was congenital. Hopefully his brother doesnt also have it.
Also Chaz and Cruz's parents need their child-naming privileges revoked.

I know youre just trying to make a joke, but ED is a real thing and it's really hard to deal with. Like not hard hard. But like really difficult.
