I like how Jacob Battaglia was being interviewed and immediately knew that Hoskin led the OJHL in points.

Meh. See what he does after a couple years at Niagara but don't necessarily love picking an OJHL overager

Mangiapane was an over-ager. Some of these hit. He has upside. Lots of prospects disappoint, lots of them surprise. Lots of bullets to rebuild this team, and Hoskin seems like a good bullet at this point in the draft. RHS 6'1"? I will take it.

I didn't even know there was a Niagara University. A new team to follow in the NCAA.

Unlisted on almost every scouting service. Seems like a guy that would have been there with the very last pick. Strange pick for sure.

Mangi was 19 and played in a major junior league
Anyway, it’s a 4th rounder

I like it. Who cares what league he was in or that he is 20, at this point you are playing a lottery. Might as well go for the big prize or bust option.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him switch programs now that he has been drafted. Not uncommon to get offers from better programs once they get on the NHL radar.

It’s a 4th round pick who was nearly 2 PPG.
That’s the good kind of strange.

Don't understand this one. He led the OJHL in scoring, but so what, he's 20....
