Default Canucks 4 Flames 3 (SO)

Canucks 4 Flames 3 (SO)

- Wolf does his best to hold the fort
- Huberdeau with three key goals (one in the shootout)
- Flames try to sit on a third period lead and pay for it

The broadcast crew seemed oblivious to the Canucks' domination in the 3rd period.

Flames need to go 6-11-1 .361 to get a top ten pick.

Flames need to go 9-7-2 .556 to get to 91 points and a playoff spot

Vancouver remains the 9th place team (hurdle)

Flames really need to work on OT line changes. Kadri and Huberdeau especially (Kadri because he takes loooong shifts and Huberdeau because he got stuck with being last guy out with a long change a couple times).

Weegar as well wasn't great in the OT. On the Flames initial possession he skates in all by himself trying to beat three defenders which is nonsensical and was also on the ice far too long due to the Flames never being able to get puck possession and when they did they seemed to immediately go for a low risk pass and turn over the puck. Just poor play in OT all around and it's kind of been a theme this season in extra time.

Yeah no one was good in OT. Flames just don't seem comfortable holding the puck, other than maybe Kadri. But he gets impatient too.

But this point was lost in the third period.
