Hurricanes Acquire Daymond Langkow From Detroit



Raleigh, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes added a top end center to the fold Monday, acquiring Daymond Langkow from the Detroit Red Wings for disgruntled center Mike Comrie. Langkow has played in 51 games with Detroit and Phoenix this season recording 17G, 25A for 42PTS.

“We think we’ve taken a step to improve our team tonight” GM Hanna Sniper responded to the trade afterwards “It’s unfortunate the Mike couldn’t get into the mix here, but it was time to move on for both the Hurricanes and bubblehead… I mean Mike” It’s unknown where Langkow will line-up up Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers.

Sick of losing and p!@#ed off at the world the Detroit Red Wings have shipped off fan favorite Daymond Lankow for the second time. Last time we traded Daymond we brought in Simon Gagne. This time we brought in a guy that we think could help pull Gagne out of this funk he is in. Thats right, that little puke Comrie is coming to Motown. We felt we needed a player that no one including the coach and gm could stand to look at. Every team needs one of them players on there team. The negotiations was smooth and quick between Hanna and Guns. Good luck with Daymond and hopefully he has a great year in the NHL.
