Solovyov deserves to stay up with the Flames, but the Wranglers also desperately need help. They've only won one of the past 11 games.

I think he brings more to the table as an all around guy and has more upside than Hanley or Bean on the left side - glad he has another year on his deal as I'd be worried he gets discouraged with failing to be a regular this year and goes back to Russia this summer like we've seen with many other russian tweeners in past

He was terrible in the Florida game, gave up multiple 2 on 1 chances and fell on top of vladar unprompted. The whole team was terrible but from the eye test he was the crown jewel.

That's the old clear-day rule, which hasn't been in place since this CBA. Back then it was a week after the NHL trade deadline.
