Maybe Edmonton is interested, and the Flames are just trying to drive up the price?
I don't mind Carlo though, but I agree it doesn't make a tonne of sense unless Weegar moves over to play the left side with Carlo. Provides the Flames with two good pairs and lots of spare parts for a 3rd pairing.

So, why are they contacting the Bruins?
You like to pretend you know, but you don’t. Might they want Carlo to backfill an Anderson move? Might they only be checking in on the price to gauge value of their own players? D the Bruins want to move salary out? Could the Flames gain a pick?
