Pospisil reinforcing my take that he is spicy Backlund. Whoever you put him with plays well, because he makes the right little plays. Love that guy

Vladar was great when he needed to be. That 4th line was excellent, gives Huska a lot of options on the road.

Great write up Bingo.
I see Mullen and Cammalleri in Matty. MATTY is still improving so who knows whats ahead. I see a leading scorer . Thing i loved abiut Mullen was he was durable.
Mullen should have died from hits he took but healways bounced back up went the other way and made you pay. #7 was special....#27 can be too.
#27 was a John Tonelli number for awhile and watchjg him last night made me think of Tonelli.
Vladdy played lights out. Reminded me of when Turek had to be good when we had Kipper or even noodles for that matter. Noodles 2 handing a redwings player in 0304 still makes me smile.
This team has some of that DNA methinks. Underdogs thatll go down swiingng .
Youll know you were in a fight after and i like that . Lomberg with his energize bunny getting the fellas engaged.
Ivevnever seen Huberdeau and Kadri so excited after a goal . That was awesome last night.

He may want the Ovechkin goal back, as he looked a little unprepared, but that doesn’t sour a solid road start for Dan Vladar tonight.

Disagree a little with this.
When you look at the replay there was a Capitals player at the top of the crease and no Flame within 10-12 feet.
Looked more like Vladar was hedging his bets on a cross pass in front instead of squaring up playing just the shot.
Tough to play shot and pass as a goalie when you have Ovechkin taking the one timer.

With OV in his office, you have to think shot first, regardless of whatever else is happening. But it was a split-second reaction, no time to think and consider your options. And the way Vladar played last night, Wolf might have not had the same outcome.
