Default January 4 with eleven games!

Good morning, rise and shine everyone. It's another Super Saturday OOT
to start the first weekend of the new year. Lots of fun as it is almost another
continuous quadruplet header to keep us for 13 hours. Baileys with tea or coffee.

The good news for the Oilers-Kraken game is that viewers don't have to hear the Oilers crew call the game. The Kraken feed is easily available on KING and KREM.

Devils just asking to go down 2-1 right now. Multiple brutal turnovers in their D-zone. Two brutal ones in particular by the Hughes bros. Looking a lot like they did the previous 3 or 4 years.

The Sharks look pretty good. Lots of speed and skill in their young forwards.

The Devils look like they're begging to give this game away. Fumbling pucks all over the place and committing many brutal turnovers.

The goalies are the stars so far in the Devils-Sharks game. The shots are 22-19 in favour of the Devils. Markstrom and Askarov are in net.

Yeah, nice little individual effort by Cotter though Askarov probably wants that one back.

With his goal, Mangiapane is on pace for about 20 goals this year which seems to be where he settles in in terms of career averages.

Ooooof boy, point shot trickles by Markstrom after he only gets a bit of it with his glove with 20 seconds left in the game to give the Sharks the lead.

Ceci scores with 24 secs left. Sharks hang on to win 3-2.

Oh wow Matthews back in the lineup! Been a ton of angst in Toronto with the mystery around his injury given the games he missed and him going to Germany to see someone for it that apparently hasn't worked given he came back and still missed games.
