This day sucked as far as hockey goes.
Would like to see Wolf with a strong run of games.

People too easy to blame Vladar for this one. Flames sucked in the third. Just lackadaisical and slow.

Wolf is rockin, plays a great game, 10-1 at home. Chance to really crank it up, and get 8 games over 500.
Vladar, you’re IN!

I’ve seen enough from vladar. Give wolf 4/5 for the remainder of the year and let vladar walk.

Vladar getting a lot of heat, but to be fair the 3rd goal was a perfect tip he had no chance on and the 4th was a terrible breakdown and Weegar tipped the shot as well.
Flames as a team played awful in the 3rd.

Coronato and Zary had good games. Vladar kind of looked a bit off and Backlund I thought had a very poor game.

No easy wins in the NHL. The U’s were just a bit better.
Scrambly game

Yeah, it sort of seemed like they were over it after that Kadri call. Looked like Pospisil was the one who high sticked him anyway (to me).

It would be nice to have some accountability. Sharangovich lead the forwards in ice time. He was set up beautifully in the slot twice and double clutched both times and didn't get a shot on net. He got a complete fluke assist on the Zary goal and had the worst giveaway of he game leading to a penalty shot. He should be eating popcorn, not leading the forwards in ice time.
Not sure why there Flames went full trap in this game. From the start they were playing 1-2-2 or 1-3-1 (hard to tell on TV) with zero forecheck pressure. Odd choice against such a powerhouse team.

I thought Backlund was fine through two, and bad in the third - caused a goal. Broadcasters pumped Kadri’s tires but he was pretty bad all game. Sharky had the chances to score and muffed them, then gave up the penalty shot chance.
Coronato was having the game of his career through two, but like everyone else, backed off in the third.

Compete collapse in the 3rd.
Goaltending continues to masks a lot of issues.
