good stuff all around. Really nice waiver pickup, and a well-deserved extension for him.

I like him. And the contract is pretty cheap. Pretty pretty pretty good.

Yeah that a good deal.
Like the player on the third pair and if a young guy needs the spot eventually then $1.2M should be easy to move.

Great signing. My mind always puts him in the category of being a long time veteran who's had to fight his way for NHL time. Part of that is true, but I forget Pachal is only 25 years old. A bit of a late bloomer, but lots of runway left.

Great signing. Does not tie Calgary into him financially if they don't want to. Gives him some much needed security. And if need be he could likely be moved for value since he's signed cheaply for a few years.
Win-win all around.

And if the wheels come off you can port that entire salary to the AHL with zero cap hit.

I love this. I like miles wood type 6 year 2.x deals too. NJ pay top end heavy!
One of goals of hockey simple yet straight forward keep puck out of net. Pachal does that lol not flashy may never put up 25 pts but not getting scored on and killing mins 5von 5 is enough!

Easy and fair signing with 0 risk for the flames. Decent enough player too, all around a small win.

This is a good signing. Good player, still young at 25. Great price.
Thinking longer term, Bahl's contract will be up end of season. I wonder what he will command? Probably going to finish with between 25-30 points and is one of our better defensive focus players IMO. I wonder if he'd sign something like a 4x4.
These two guys on the LD for a few years is a good situation for us, especially with the puck movers we have coming up on the right side in Brzu and Parekh. With Solovyov and Kuznetsov looking mighty fine, and guys like Mews in the pipe too, it gives us lots of options to potentially send guys out in the near term. One of Rasmus or Weegar should definitely be traded this season.

Nice contract. I've not dug into his advanced stats but he's looked decent enough in the bottom pairing role for a guy that's played <100 games.

Outside of Sharangovich has Conroy signed a deal over 2 years?
Any talk of him participating in free agency should probably die down.

Great waiver pick up and extension. Think he’s a very solid bottom pairing d man.

Estevan Sask kid too, congrats to his family as well! I believe his uncle has posted a couple times about coming to watch him play so I'm sure they're happy to have him around for at least 2 more years
