Nashville is awful. Lowest scoring team in the league.

A team that did well last year because of a long point streak. So Trotz went out and made them older, slower and much more expensive.

THankfully Conroy went the other direction.

With the way this league goes I would not be surprised to see Nashville draft elite talent with a lottery pick this year (they also have 2 additional first rounders) and bounce back entirely next year with solid goaltending and a few tweaks.

Punting Trotz is nonsensical for the franchise given he's proceeding based on what ownership wants - retooling while competing. We all know how that goes here, but at least he's pulling in the picks that enable you to actually draft talent.

I can't cheer for this team to win anymore. Can't do it. The best thing that can happen with this team is they have a couple of bottom 5 finishes, draft the centre pieces they need, and get rid of the second worst coach this franchise has ever seen.

He's not a good coach but I'm happy he's here now instead of later when there is more talent on the team and in the pipeline. Silver lining I suppose.
