Edmonton also has waiver priority over the flames, as of Nov 1st the waiver wire priority is no longer based on the previous season.

Kapanen isn't good. As bad as Sharangovich and Pospisil have been he would bring no upside over them. And replacing Kirkland with him would just be bringing in an extra old body to block young guys from coming up
