I'll be annoyed if they are scratching Pachal...think he's been super steady for them so far this year.

Steinberg deleted his lines tweet so I guess we will see if there are some corrections to be made.

I’d hate to see Pachal scratched but I understand needing to dress Barrie occasionally I guess. He seems to be rotating the player who sits out.

That 5th line is the most interesting line on the team.

I'd be very surprised to see Hanley-Pachal as the 3rd pair tomorrow.

I don’t know. Pachal has been better than Bean IMO.

But Hanley? Is he outperforming Bean in practice? Given its game 8 I'd suggest he hasn't really done anything of note to earn a spot. Bean is coming off his first goal. Little chance he comes out IMO.

Not the biggest fan of Barrie, but for me the power play is clearly struggling with the point men. Opposing teams seem to have good success pressuring the point men for quick turnovers because we don't really have a fluid guy up there who knows how to assert control and make a good passes to relieve the pressure.

Without consideration for which side Barrie plays, I would have swapped him in for Bean. I'll email Husk.

Sharangovich replaces Kirkland between Hubi and Mantha
Kirkland slides down with Lomberg and Rooney

Klapka and Honzek goes to the AHL

Coronato is not yet an everyday player. I prefer him over Rooney who is really not good at anything but Huska loves him so….

On the defense, other than the top 3, the bottom 5 are interchangeable

Seeing as how Bean is signed for another year and Miromanov has also been very meh, I'd have swapped Bean with Miromanov to see what Bean can do with a higher caliber of player (no offense to Pachal):

Bahl-Andersson
Weegar-Bean
Barrie-Pachal

During the 2nd intermission Eric Francis guessed that Klapka and Coronato will be sent down, potentially tomorrow.

Assuming both players are activated from the IR

I could see them wanting Hanley to get an occasional game.

Wow did Huska ever NOT throw them under the bus in his presser after the loss.

Hurricanes are a high volume shot team we expected this so its okay ??? Vladar was hung out to dry and looked hurt when he skated to the bench in all honesty on the EN goal which bothered me ....I re watched it a dozen times and he was laboring off after standing on his head playing behind this team that had its first tank mentality game....honestly I thought we were a high volume shot team?
Can we get back to that . Coaches said they want Mantha shooting 300 pucks right . That's not FA . He and Huberdeau should be shooting 300 plus each if we want to see real results

If Mantha wants to stay he had better be way more Invested too. Why are guys just getting free passes ? I mean I know Popsicle got stapled to the bench but how about guys get popcorn up in the press box and have Craig bend their ears for a game???

Huska I hope will very slowly start turning up thr heat as the season progresses because if he let's complacency set in too early the early points we have won't mean FA if we aren't careful.

Hot starts are great let's just not pisss out our own Flames in the process as that to me would be somewhat tragic wouldn't it? Or am I out of line here .

Pachal has been our 4th best defender.

He's been great. Quiet in a good way.

Sharagovich can’t come back soon enough. Kirkland is a nice story but he shouldn’t be the center for hubby line.
