Yup, I'm happy for him, but I don't expect him to last very long on the top pair as his defensive game will show playing against other teams' top guys.

Talking about scheduling, the Hockey Club gets a, IMO, favorable early trip. Alternate nights on the road with no or little travel, Isles/Rags/Devils, giving the young squad a chance to develop chemistry on the road. They do finish with another alternate day game on the other coast, in Anaheim, but the 3 in NYC is nice, I believe. Hopeful expectations were a 0.500 trip, winning the first game was big

I am at the Leafs home opener! Not a bad atmosphere. Leafs seem pretty listless through the first. Our new arena better be better than Scotiabank Arena. No enough restrooms! Verybhelpful staff though. Tall of Coors light is 15.00
