Bringing back memories of the ghost of Duncan Keith.

Pair him with Nurse.

Also that tweet reads like a warning.

I said it before, Edmonton management is like a very casual fan who remembers a few player names from the past and thinks they are still good. You see guys like that in hockey pools, picking guys that haven't been PPG for 6 years in the second round.

Edmonton is actually already pretty good this year.

Klingberg onto the PP and bottom pairing is probably a win for them.

I remember hearing some talk about how Klingberg may come back to his old form this time around because of what I'm assuming is a major surgery he underwent that another player did recently, where they came back better than ever. So, I guess this may not end as bad as we are assuming it will.

Even if his surgery was successful, he hasn't played since Nov 11, 2023. And he's 32. He might round into form, but I doubt it.

Bouchard plays on the PP, Klingberg might get PP2 time. So like 40 seconds a game.

The question is if he can help 5v5.

His normal value is on the PP, but it's similar to Skinner in that he's not going to be on PP1 anyways. And PP1 plays the full 2 minutes.

So then he needs to be able to actually be a positive factor at 5v5.

I do seem to recall that Klingberg wasn't terrible against the Flames in the most recent playoff series.

His last year in Dallas he finished -28 with Oettinger in net. So he's exactly what the Oilers need 5v5.

They don't really need a tonne of help 5v5. They are dominant at evens this year (and have been for a couple now).

It's ugly, but that team is better this year than last.

The seniors home is open for Busienss.

How long before Toews signs up for aqua fitness in the Oilers diving pond.

Okay, how's the PK? How's the depth scoring? What is Klingberg going to contribute?
