CapWages (CapFriendly replacement)
I thought I'd post this in a thread in case any posters who frequented CapFriendly weren't aware, but CapWages looks like a solid replacement and it seems as though the people behind it are continually adding features.
Just today I noticed a "GM" section and newly added "UFA's" page.
Whoever is behind this, thanks. It's nice to have a site to go to in order to get info on stuff like this, especially if you frequent a message board like CP and engage in discussions on the subject.
Hopefully it's a CPer behind it.

Liking CapWages a ton - also seems like a good bunch behind the scenes.
After I promoted some stuff on Twitter via @UpsideHockey, they sent some grateful private messages to me, went on to say they really enjoy our stuff as well (our rankings and CP's own Sandman's profiles) and even thought we should keep in touch on potential future collaborations - who knows where that goes, if anywhere, but glad they emerged when they did.

CapWages looks great so, especially if they keep adding. Thanks for posting about it, I used to look at CapFriendly a lot looking at potentially trades and other teams prospects.

If the Flames didn't have Huberdeau, they would be almost $10 million under the cap floor and would have to take that money on in other bad contracts.

I don't like the Huberdeau or Kadri Contracts but at the moment? Its not like they're ham-stringing our success or anything.

If ‘displaying data in table form’ could be copyrighted, spreadsheets and databases would be illegal.
All the original work in Capfriendly was in the APIs, not the user interface. As far as I know, the people making Capwages are writing their own code. The only way they'll run afoul of IP law is if Capfriendly holds any software patents, in which case reverse-engineering the code could be an infringement.
