15 days til 1st pre-season game

Sept 22nd is our first pre season game. Seattle I believe. In our 8 pre-season games what is your hope and what excites you. For me it’s who wants it badly enough to come in and steal a role. All about the babies this year

Would love to see Wolf get most of these starts to get more comfortable at the NHL level.

I just hope it's not Wolf. We're all but assured to be bad, I just hope it's because we can't score enough goals or are terrible defensively, not because our supposed future between the pipes doesn't look like he'll be that.

Some highlight reel saves and stealing the odd game is hopefully what we see and is enough to keep his confidence up

If he plays half the games this season (not out of the realm of possibility) behind the current D (assuming its constructed as we expect out of the players on hand) then he's going to look decidedly very average on a lot of nights. Anyone would. Doesn't mean he is though.

I would imagine barring injury we see Vladar with the other half. By all accounts he's healed up.

I can't say for certain but last year I believe all home games were televised either on SN or the Flames YouTube channel / website.

The online broadcasts were limited to the Flames viewing region I believe
