Calgarypuck Prospect Ranking 2024 - Round 25
Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!
As per usual ...
1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to mid to late August
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

I was going there too but then thought Kerins deserves some love in this level for a decent AHL season.

Schwindt, just because he's actually played NHL games and looked okay. Our replacement for Rooney whenever that happens.

The chances anyone left plays more than 100 games in the NHL is miniscule, but I went with Hoskins. Impressive numbers in the OJHL.

After much deliberation, went Hurtig - have a feeling he'll surprise this season. Plus, he has an easy theme song of Axel F...
Bell (probably deserving of higher...), Yegorov, Hoskin all admittedly intrigue me in this ranking range...

Went Bell here, thought about Kevin's but don't see him making the show.
Edit: Kerins not Kevin's

I think its at least 50/50 that someone will, just pretty hard to guess who it will be - Ferland, Jooris, Rittich, Kulak amongst the names who have lived at this depth, more recently (not saying they have 100 games in them) Solovyov, Klapka etc

I have them ranked Schwindt, Bell, Kerins personally, but at this point there's no really wrong answer.

Yeah Schwindt: already sorta made it, nothin special
Kerins: not great development, was excited about him in junior
Pell: didn’t know much about him except some of you think he’s potentially a diamond in the rough

Went Hurtig.
He doesn't jump off the page in terms of stats, but seems to be taking steps forward.
From what I understood, he stood out at Development camp and scored a high skill goal. He should make the SWE WJ team. He will also get some NA devp this year with the Hitmen. Intersted to see where he lands next year.

Always love making my pick and seeing others, especially Bingo, saying they are going the same way I’m thinking. Makes me realize I am not out of touch with the fan base despite living across the country
