As per usual ...

1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to mid to late August
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case

This is nuts. So many of our prospects that were in the organization prior to the 2024 draft had good years. A few took really big steps forward and we have 1 prospect on the list that moved up in the Calgarypuck rankings a grand total of 1 position.

So either we are all horribly overrating this past draft class or Conroy has done an exceptional job transforming the prospect pool in the year he's led the organization.

Because.....Suniev, for example, falling 6 spots is in no way an indication that his stock has fallen, in fact I think it's quite the opposite with him.

I think this exercise really shines a light on the amount of work done in the last year by Conroy and staff.....and their ability to recognize and retain the talent that was already in the organization and very quickly flip the entire group. It's amazing really.

Went with Ignatjew here. Seems to be a goalie who has taken steps forward every year, and was a starter in good league last season. However, Hurtig, Hoskins, Ciona, Jamieson, Laing and Yegorov were all in consideration here for me.

Hoskin had 42 goals and 100 points in 52 games last season in the OJHL.

He then added 11 goals and 28 points in 18 playoff games.

Yeah hes 20 but that is a great season.
