Seattle was looking weak on D, a good add
More than Francis usually pays is it not?

I'm all for the West getting stronger just to take out the Canucks and Oilers the next few years!

What I like best is seeing Seattle improving and hopefully dominating the Flames in this upcoming season.

I don't believe you. I guarantee you'll still be grousing about how bad the Flames are in every GDT, GT, and PGT, especially against bad teams like the Kraken.

I have been calling for a rebuild for a while and got called out for celebrating losses last year.
That was a dumb take. But does that make you feel good taking a shot at a random poster? I truly hope you have some better things to do - It's Canada Day, lots of parties and events. Go for a walk

Who’s gonna play defense in Florida? If they also lose OEL they’re screwed.

Yikes.
I like Montour a lot, but that AAV is pretty high for what he brings. He had a monster 22/23, but really never found that level again in 23/24. Still a good player. Perhaps he lives up to this contract, but I'm a little doubtful.

Rasmus would be a good fit in Florida.

Good for Seattle - much like Tanev, Montour will either be an effective player or he’ll get LTIR’d.
The cap could be north of $110M in seven years, the money has to go somewhere.
