Teams could sign Reinhart for free on the open market, his last 3 seasons were 94, 67, 82. But he will cost a lot more in terms of money and term than Kadri will.
Either player is probably going to deliver similar results over the next 3 years with maybe a slight edge to Reinhart.

We just need them to make the playoffs in '24-25 so Montreal can have their 1st-round pick.

The better draft pick for the Flames requires the Flames to finish bottom 10 and the Panthers to make the playoffs next season.

Very good contract, especially for all the Reinhart does on both sides of the puck. The AAV is less than I anticipated. The key to me is that there's no signing bonus in the structure, so if his game falls off a cliff around 35, they can buy him out.
