At 41, Mews
At 62, Kiviharju (he’ll be there)
74, Luke Misa although I doubt he’s there
After that take the guys with wheels. Romani the overager might be a good pick too.

No Poirier in that list? I don't care if he's a smurf, he's a brick and can snipe. Not too often do you see a draft eligible kid score 50.

Are there any centres left that could have high ceilings?

If so, get them to redesign McDavid's basketball court.

Looks like a number of goalies available in the third round. Conroy mentioned in interviews that he'd touch base with Jordan Sigalet.

I also would love to see the younger Poirier brother picked. I think it would motivate both of them and Justin had 18 goals in 17 games in the playoffs

After the 2025 1st round pick conditions are sorted through, is this the last of the draft picks that Tre set on fire?

Conroy mentioned goalies specifically in one of his interviews tonight, which made me believe he wants a goalie in the second...

I was kind of hoping for Artamonov at 28. Seems like a smart player.

I got me a shiny new dark horse favorite for the Flames to pick tomorrow morning. His name is Simon Zether.
Yeah. We want that.
18 year old, fast, 6'3 RHS center out of Rogle Sweden. Lit the J20 up with 27p in 18 gp then got promoted to the big league where he kind of got stymied and put up 4 assists in 42 gp. Needs to bulk up but he's got all the skills that thrill.
The scouting reports have been consistent in saying his skating is an issue but I don't know what they're seeing. Maybe needs a quicker first step but he flies. And he handle the pick smooth as silk at speed.
Or, we can just take Aatos Koivu and call it a day.

I appreciate you bringing this kid up, dammage- I've been advocating for him since I first started writing profiles this year. His offensive game has been severely underrated due to the fact that he played the majority of the year in the SHL (4 points in 42 games with only 7 minutes per) with men, but before he was sent there, he put up 27 points in only 18 SHL games (25 PIM)- which gives him a better ppg (1.50) than any other draft-eligible Swede, other than Brandsegg-Nygard. His defensive game is notable, even against men, but I think he could be a sleeper.
I think it's worth noting that he's a bit older, with an October birthday, but there's a chance he could be a David Edstrom/ Filip Bystedt-type.
