He looked pretty terrible in that series against Edmonton. This could be the end of his career unless a team is desperate.

Nah, He'll probably sign a 1 year league minimum deal with a contender and chase a cup one more time. I bet he's a leaf before the end of July (unless Gio comes back for another season with them as the designated old guy without a cup).

He played a role in the Stars losing that series for sure. No surprise he was bought out.

Tony DeAngelo was bought out by both the Rangers and Flyers. I think he may be the only one

One of the few buyouts that make sense. Only $780k cap hit this year, $1.4 mil next year. Next year Benn comes off the books, cap situation next year isn't bad for them.

I was just checking if Lecavalier got bought out a second time, but he ended up retiring 2 years before his contract expired.
He is still getting paid by the Lightning though till 2026-27
|
