Wow, he's 6th worst in the entire league with a -23 this year. He was +64 his last year with the Flames.
It's hard not to think he was content to take a bunch of money to play in a place that he can coast without anyone getting too much on him.

As a Gaudreau fan... I disagree. There is no way I would chant his name positively after he left.
Thanks for the amazing memories and the high-level of entertainment that you have given me. I definitely won't forget it. Treliving should have signed or traded you away in that off-season prior to the one that you ended up walking away for free in.
However, I won't let you forget that you walked out on my team. I will boo you. I will boo Tkachuk. I will boo Toffoli. I will boo anyone who publicly stated that they wanted out in any way for any reason. This is the team I cheer for.
The only time I will cheer "We want Johnny" is when the game is about over and I want to hear Burning Ring of Fire.
