Forces the 4th line with two absolute raw rookies out for the tieing goal, then throws Osterle out with less than a minute to go and he predictably backs all the way up and deflects a puck into his own net.
If not for Markstrom's play this season we are bottom 5 and everyone is laughing at the Huska hire.
This team's looks absolutley awful and the biggest issue right now is their systems suck. Zero pucks to the slot in the offensive zone, super passive "zone defence". A PP that would be better if we just kept running our regular line combo's.
Fire the lot of these coaches and hire absolutely anyone with NHL experience.

Huska is the beginning of an inevitable rebuild. Or we would have gone with a more experienced NHL coach. Huska is thr Ying to sutters yang. They needed someone the fans good accept because he was nice.

Nope, Huska is fine. Rookie HC with a team on the cusp of a tear down. Gms job is to give him better options other than Oesterle, DeSimone, Gilbert for a 3rd pairing.

I'll support it only if you bring Sutter back to finish the 2 years.
Personally, I don't hate Huska's coaching. I think that it's a pretty good opportunity for Huska to learn on the job and develop the younger players. We can always get a new coach after a couple of years of rebuilding.
Here are things I liked about Huska from this season:
1. He had the balls to sit Huberdeau in the 3rd
2. He keeps everyone accountable, if a player isn't going. He isn't playing.
3. He found spots to succeed for players that really struggled at the start of the season: Kadri, Sharangovich, Huberdeau, Mangiapane.
4. He kept things positive and light despite the dreadful start.
5. The PK has been awesome, the SHGs even better.
6. He's pretty good at developing D. Most of our D are having career years offensively.
7. Coleman, and Sharangovich are having career years in his system.

With the current state of the Flames, I’d rather he stay for this season and next. No point on improving the coach until the core foundation is fixed. It’s rotten as is and cannot be fixed by any coach.
We’ve already switched our GM and two core franchise wingers gone. Need a new core before getting a new coach.
We just need a coach that is good at developing young players and creates a positive atmosphere and that players want to play for right now. Seems like that fits Ryan Huska to a tee.
