I think the title was a typo as there was a rush to get this up. Kevin Weekes is notorious for being first and teasing moves. He almost never teases with nothing to follow

They need to move him quickly before the rest of the league discovers he's the second-best goalie in the family and it wrecks his value.

If Markstrom doesn’t play in Vegas tomorrow, I will very logically presume that a trade is on pause until the dad/mentor trip is done.

His value is at an all time high though..
The goalie market is as soft as it would ever be and Markstrom is likely target #1 for any team looking for a goalie at the moment.

If Marky is indeed getting traded, I’ll honestly miss the guy. He’s had his ups and downs in net, and the downs were really, really bad. But you couldn’t deny his passion and his want to win for the club. Best goalie we’ve had since Kipper
