Anybody in Vegas for the game?
When we were in the airport waiting for our flight Thursday, looked like there was a decent contingent of Flames fans coming to watch. We’ll be there in an Andersson and Mark Stone jersey!

We just saw Backs walking from the arena to the Waldorf (we assume). And possibly Huska?

Yes, that is where the Flames stay when the team is in Vegas.

I wanted to have lunch at The Varsity.
Nah, just changing planes. It is a cool city though, perimeter traffic aside! You did a reverse move of the Flames!

My buddy (delusional oilers fan) was at the Vegas game. Said there were lots of Flames fans at the game and he saw a few jerseys around town. Good showing for Flames fans.
He is not the type to wear his oilers jersey to a non-oilers game, but he did say there were a few of them in the crowd. What kind of loser wears a team jersey to a game that said team is not playing in? I’ve never understood that.

I thought about wearing a Flames jersey to the Kings/Oilers playoff game last year in Los Angeles but I didn’t want to be that girl. Wore a neutral outfit and endeared myself to Kings fans by yelling Oilers Suck after the visiting troupe tried to start Let’s Go Oilers.

Visiting representation is usually strong in Vegas. I was there the weekend before and there were lots of Islander and Panther fans in town. And I've gone to a couple Flames games there and there were plenty of Flames fans around. I'm told by locals that the Jets actually draw a lot of their fans there.
I did attend an Oilers game in Vegas last POs (I did not pay to do this - I was at a convention and a ticket dropped into my lap with other folks). I did not wear Flames stuff. But I did buy a Vegas hat (with the logo in Pride colors just to piss off one of the less enlightened Oiler fans I was with).

Hopefully Rasmus stayed away from the casino - it was bad luck for him in Detroit.

We actually bumped into Rasmus, Markstrom and Vladar walking into the arena later that day! The goalies kept walking and we didn’t interrupt the zone but wearing my Andersson jersey I just had to ask!

Yes we saw a few Oilers jerseys. When a couple of guys walked by us in NYNY I started chanting “Ei-chel’s bet-ter!” Which got me some approving thumbs up from other Flames fans around
