I think it's a solid deal. Why not have a guy who can have a fresh start, and probably at worst be a scoring 4th liner (at minimum pay too). I personally don't see the upside coming to fruition, but bottom two liner, sure. And locked up for two years.

There is no way in hell I want them to get to OT of Game 7 of the Final.
I'd much rather they sell off their futures and have a final quarter of the season like their first quarter and miss the playoffs by 1 point.
