Default Kraken 2 Flames 1

Kraken 2 Flames 1

- Flames the better team by most measures
- Huberdeau looks better than we've seen of late
- Kraken break 1-1 tie in the third period

Listening on the radio I just kept hearing Coleman Coleman Coleman. And to hear about Huberdeau slowly getting going IS nice despite the L.

So as Wolf says you win or you Learn. I like that better on a night like this.

Average team?

They are ranked 26 out of 32 teams.

An average team in the NHL is currently 4-5 games above .500, a number the flames seem allergic to pass over.

Now, I agree that the Flames seem better than 26th. But at some stage, the results need to match the eye test.

Huberdeau is the poster boy for the Flames. The effort is there, he seems to be playing better, but at some stage, he needs to get a point or two. Or three. I actually expect he’ll get two points Saturday to close out the month.

Well aware of the standings, covered that in another section.

They're an average team. They might actually be an above average team by game play with below average finishing, which costs them points.
