Default November 25 with seven games.

Good morning, it is the quietest Saturday OOT so far this season.
Still, the good part is that it makes for a quadruplet header!

So, the Canucks will play the Sharks tonight for the third time in their first 22 games.

They are 10-2 in games against non-playoff teams (current standing), with losses to CGY and PHI. Against playoff teams, they are 4-4-1

Or to put it another way, against SJS, EDM, NAS, OTT and MTL, all bottom 10 teams, (MTL was when they played them, and will be again), they are 9-0-0, outscoring them 46-15. And against the rest of the league they are 5-6-1 with an aggregate score of 39-37.

Today will be their 10th game against a bottom 10 team, and their 6th game against a bottom 3 team.

Good on them for pounding crappy teams, but let's wait until the schedule normalizes a bit, before we declare them to be for real.

Compare that to the Flames who by next Thursday will have played the Stars three times in their first 23 games.

Flames' schedule has been pretty average - 11 playoff teams, and 9 non-playoff teams so far

The Kings continue to their winning rampage. They lead 2-0 after forty minutes. Dubois has two assists and Copley is in net for the Kings.

Copley has less than six minutes to go for the shutout. It is now 4-0 Kings!

Hope Monahan isn't hurt, his play has fallen off completely again after a great start to the year.

Doesn't look hurt, lead the team in shots today with 3 of the 18 they had.

It is a scoreless tie on Long Island in the second period. Ersson and Sororkin are the goalies.

The goalie duel is still happening on Long Island. The shots are 35-20 in favour of the Flyers with five minutes remaining in regulation time! Double shutout?

They just announced he’s been fined $5K for it.
