1. On To Ottawa
The Flames head into our nation’s capital riding a three-game point streak after rallying from a three-goal deficit to earn a point on Friday night in Toronto.

On one hand, it certainly stings to drop an extra point after battling back.

On the other, the clash with the Leafs is evidence of this team’s never-say-die attitude manifesting itself both at home, and on the road.

Calgary has put home 17 pucks in the last four games, signs of an offence that’s coming to life.


There's no question the Senators will go back to Joonas Korpisalo vs. Flames

It should be no surprise that’s why the Senators are ranked No. 27 in the NHL and that won’t change until their goalies turn it around. Yes, the club has been plagued by defensive errors, but it doesn’t help when every one of them ends up in your net.

The Flames looked slow last night, which could be an effect of traveling east and shifting time zones. They worked hard to get back into it last night, but spent a lot of energy doing so. Playing a young and fast Senators team on the second half of a back to back as well? I am skeptical about their chances for a win.
