Why would anyone in the locker room care? Oesterle didn't even have to make the team- many here thought he shouldn't have. Can't see that opinion being too different in room.
Oh no, management waived a 31 year old on league minimum contract that was just signed. He's been on 5 rosters since 2017 lol.

Once the competition from preseason to regular season stepped up Osterle did not. He looks slow and lost out there. Terrible positioning and reads. Give it to the kids...

A damn shame that Poirier got hurt. He can do everything Oesterle does, just at a significantly higher and more skilled level. Huska gifted Oesterle a spot out of camp and it was the wrong thing to do.

I thought keeping Oesterle initially made sense. It helped the team maximize the LTIR from the Kylington contract, only burning $50k. If Solo was here from the start it would've been ~$150k.
I wonder if Solo will be up with the big club soon, or maybe it's a move to clear some space for a potential Dube - Duclair swap. Duclair has 1G, and is a -8 with the Sharks this season. Dube has 1G, 3P, and is a -10 this season.
