Buying a car on ebay

Has anyone here ever bought a car on Ebay? Cars seem dirt cheap compared to up here.

Aside from all the Ebay issues, I was also wondering if anyone has imported a car from the US and what are the issues?

Do you pay GST?
Do you pay duty?
Does a US warranty transfer to Canada?

The warranty is doubtful, but thats just a guess. Out of province inspection will be mandatory. Plus, if the car has major issues, you'll likely be on the hook for shipping costs back to the original owner.

Hope it's some kind of antique or collector, otherwise, probably not worth it.

Nah...just looking at 2002 and newer. It seems to me that cars can be had for many thousands of dollars less in the US than up here.
