Good. Hopefully this means he gets a shot with the Wranglers for his development.

I'd prefer Tri-City over Rapid City if he doesn't stick in Stampede City.

nice - he had a good sized group of supporters at the youngstars tournament last weekend that were seated a few rows in front of us.
every time he was on the ice the group was cheering him on - great to see stuff like that!

A 5th Rounder who starting to look more like a 2nd Rounder: Good size, wheels, hands and physical.

Ouch. Hurts to see so little coming down the pipeline from the 2021 and 2022 drafts, but at least a couple players that are coming should be good. Glad they signed him, he has potential.

He did well at the youngstars tourney. Seemed like a hard working physical grinder. Lots of effort. Not super quick but fast once he got going. Lanky frame. Could be quite a big player if he fills out.

Excellent pick, I love this kid. Size, speed, snarl, and I think he projects as a middle-six two-way winger, with some offensive pop.

Glad he turned out to be good enough to give him a contract and hopefully develops into a flames jersey but I'm still pissed that Treliving passed on Seminoff even with Button high on taking him.

I really like Seminoff too, but I would argue that we got as good or better a player in Bell. Seminoff has a lot more talent to work with in Kamloops, but both players are a nightmare on the forecheck, both work hard, and both have intimidating speed. I would give the edge to Seminoff in the speed department, but Bell has more snarl, more physicality, and is much bigger. For those reasons, I might say that Bell has a higher NHL floor. Just my opinion.

I hope you're right, but when they called Bell's name I got the the un easy feeling Brian Burke's influence was still in Trelivings head, Bell has more size but Seminoff doesn't shy away from anything either, he's a pain in the ass to play against and is more skilled IMO.
