Depth NHL/AHL signing. Interesting. Would have thought he would have preferred going to a team with a better shot getting into the lineup

And then losing them both to the same team for 5 points from Nick Ritchie in a non-playoff year.

Wizardry!

Haha! What?

Okay...enjoy. This guy is an AHL journeyman at best.

Valimaki was terrible and it may have been because of Sutters abusive ways but again the coach they just signed to an extension was never going to play him so they had no choice.

If anyone is to blame it's Sutter and Valimaki not Treliving.

Will never forgot the last game I attended where Mackay scored two clutch goals to get the Flames back in the game, then promptly made maybe the worst giveaway I've ever seen to put the game out of reach.

It can't possibly have been worse than "The Kadri Goal".

I capitalize it and put it in scare quotes to emphasize my point that you can instantly visualize what I mean, but you may not instantly recognize what the Mackey goal is.

"Anders Eriksson."

I rest my case.

Almost guaranteed with hindsight.

Hard to stay sharp when you get 10 minutes a year.

He had surpassed Valimaki by a mile, but they were both handled like s***.
