Jones is a guy I could see getting a couple games in a bottom 6 role this season. I was quite impressed with him in Wranglers games last year

Jones is very close to being ready to be an everyday bottom six NHL forward.
Petterson still has solid potential and would like to see him pop this year offensively. Kids been getting better year after year.
Happy to see them both back with the organization.

I’ve never held Petterson in the highest regard as a prospect, and almost all of my opinion and info is from CP. But then I started using Dobber prospect rankings for a fantasy hockey league I joined, and I consistently saw Petterson ranked high. So confusing. He’s finally dropped a bit, but in April he was still ranked 56 for fantasy prospect forwards. That’s up and around Raty and Sam Poulin. He’s 186 now.

I think this reference was used when he was signed, but still holds today...if his nickname isn't Cooter I have grave concerns for society's future.

MEP not likely to be an NHLer but another in an NHL organization has to be a positive.

I'm a big Ben Jones fan. I think he could make a good bottom-6 player. He's got the skating, and the jam.

Anytime I watched wranglers last year - Pettersen impressed me the most. His game isn't flashy but just seemed polished and mature, similar to how Backlund game is in the NHL.
