I think a lot of players mentioned that last year the early home stand wasn't the best as teams like to go on the road early. So with that, we will be a playoff team.

I don't know if history bears this out, but I feel like the Flames' best seasons have been ones where they had a lot of games on the road to start the season.
Certainly, that's true of the last two seasons. Also, 2014-15 and 2018-19 were both unexpectedly strong seasons for the team and both started with a lot of road games in October.

Also 10 of the first 15 on the road.
Philly on New Years Eve is interesting.
Two day games this year - Family Day (which they've had a number of years in a row now) is Winnipeg, and then the Devils Saturday Dec 9.
