It would be interesting to know exactly how much wealth the owners of the flames have gained from their ownership of the franchise.
The current majority owner bought-in in 1994. In 2006, the franchise value was pegged at 135 million. In 1980, the franchise was bought for 16 million. So somewhere between those numbers...

The franchise is currently valued at ~900 million. Maybe more with recent news (this included).
