Default Thank you Brad Treliving

I hope to keep this positive.

Brad represented the Flames well. He sold our city when others said it wasn’t a good place to play. He always aimed high and usually erred on the side of trying to make the team better. He was as ambitious of a Flames GM that I can remember. I wish things ended on a happier note.

Thank you Brad for everything that you did here. I wish you and your family the best. Good luck.

Thank You Brad.

Very grateful for all the fun we had with Johnny, Elias, Matthew, Sean and co together.

You assembled a pretty good core for us. Too bad their time was cut short.

Treliving remains the only actual hockey person I've ever spoken with. My very confident friend introduced our group to him while he was sitting on the concourse at the World Juniors in Finland. I meant to say it at the time but thank you for drafting Kylington. He remains the most fun player on the team. Hopefully he is back sometime. Wish some of the UFA signings had gone better but I think it's only downwards after Treliving.

The disappointing thing for me is I would have wanted Tre to become President of Hockey Ops and have Conroy and Malhoney be the GM/AGM.

Tre did way more than good as my only complaints are in free agency and the odd trade or two.

Thanks Tre you left this place in better shape than you found it, even if this might actually be one of the lowest points in franchise history.

Weird to say all that and it still somehow makes sense lol.

I've never met him but there were a lot of accounts of the nice things he's done for people on twitter today and how he seemed to be a genuinely good person.

No matter how you feel about the on-ice product he was in charge of you can't dispute the organization lost a good person that represented the organization with class today.

All the best in your future endeavors Brad.

I liked the fact that he was a people person first and cared deeply about the individual. Very progressive and hardworking on top of it all. True character guy and big loss for not only the team but the city.

Seemed like he genuinely cared about people.

Seemed to be constantly working.

Probably time for a change for both parties. But I thought he did a good job.

I echo a lot of others in thinking that he worked very hard and represented an organization that needed leadership really well.

I have to think Gaudreau leaving like he did and Tkachuck following him out of town really stung him. I can see why he might be wore down and think he could use a change.

Wish him the best and hope it's an Eastern team that he has any future success with. I think he's a quality person.

I hope there’s more than one that can see a #### record when he came to build a perennial contender. We’re not even a perennial playoff qualifier lol.

I was actually ready for a change in direction but no arguments that he's good person and did his best to act with integrity while managing the team. Wish him well.

Genuine, classy, hard working, passionate, and caring of others. Tough, but fair negotiator. Most of all, he brought respect back to the organization.

His biggest mistake was taking the helm of a team that is deeply cursed - the poor guy never stood a chance.
