Default Garage Door Repair Companies

My ####ing garage door broke last night.

Any recommendations on who to call?

I have a call into Action Door but haven't heard from them.

Will be needing some maintenance on mine at some point in the future so I’ve kept this thread bookmarked. https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showth...=184987&page=3

I used Overhead Door last year when my springs broke. They were pricey but did a good job.

Mine are busted as well which has damaged the door.

Mind telling me the price you paid, I've got one quote.

You can PM if you wish

I think all in it was around $600 which included new springs, labour and travel time.

A few years back here in Nw Calgary we used Quality Garage Door Services. The guy was very responsive and we felt gave extra service.

We had a total Service done and new springs installed.

I used them last year to replace my garage opener and was quite happy. $500 all-in for a Chamberlain MyQ smart opener, they were really quick with the install and I've had zero issues with it

We used Garage Door Repairman a while back and would highly recommend. He came out quickly (on a holiday i believe it was), did good work, and with a fair price.

Since that sounds like a pretty generic google search term, phone number is (403) 667-2190.

Stampede Overhead Door has been great for the times we've called them over the years. They've been around for 30+ years.

I always use Done Rite Doors for any repairs I've needed.

I know who to stay away from: https://bnwgaragedoors.ca

Fought with them due to bad installations (plural). Needed to call an electrician on my own dime when they blew out all the power in my place.

Lots of the springs supplied to installers now are sourced from China. More than likely need to be readjusted, or retention done after a few months.

Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind. Also, remember to spray your springs with fluid film.

Lonnie has probably been the best that I have used. I am kind of surprised how bad some of these companies can be. One place replaced my spring but didn't adjust properly making the garage door opener burn out within a week after.
