Default Enough is enough - Bring up Wolf.

This is what, about the 18th to 20th point that the Flames have surrendered due to non NHL goaltending.

Dan Vladar is a good backup, but he is just a backup goalie.

The Flames cannot give away points any more this season if they want to have a season left to play. The Flames should have won four of their last five games. Instead, Jakob Markstrom has given three points away in the standings on games where the Flames dominated the opponent. This should be the start of the Flames going on a run, but the absolutely embarrassing level of goaltending has robbed this team all season.

There are no more excuses. Make Wolf the starter now.

I don’t know about making him auto starter but he deserves a shot. All he needs to do is be average.

Markstrom is now the worst goalie in the NHL in goals allowed vs. Expected in close games (when the score is within 1).

For Wolf to be an upgrade he would only literally need to not be the worst goalie in the entire league.

This. Exactly.

What is there to lose at this point?

I don't necessarily say let him be the starter but see what you got with him in a few games.

He could save our season. He doesn't have to be superman or anything. Almost anything would be an improvement at this point. Might as well give it a shot.

Look at Ersson for the Flyers, 6-0 coming in. We definitely could use that.

I honestly do not know what it would hurt. Give him a start,
If he wins start him again.

Sutter WILL NOT start him! put it to bed.

I want to see him play a few regular season games to see what we have.

I don't think he will either but I don't think there's anyone out there who watches more Wranglers hockey than Darryl. He knows what Wolf could do for this team.

Well Sutter sure doesn't seem to know what Markstrom can do for this team.

Forget this season. Markstrom is a joke but I want no part of Wolf being injected into this toxic environment with a coach like Darryl Sutter. This season is a write off, even IF they squeak in they have no chance to do anything that would justify taking such massive risks, with our own youngsters or any assets at the deadline. Stand pat, clean house in the offseason and for the love of god ownership please be honest with yourself and the teams assessment. I'm so sick of this garbage.

Blah blah "ruin talent"

This team shelters its goalies in terms of shot volume extremely well, but the goalies aren't up to the task when the first couple chance come their way

It's a pretty good situation for Wolf to step into, actually

If we were a team getting peppered every night I would say otherwise

You're absolutely right that enough is enough.

What is the risk? Give him some games. Sorry, I know some of this season is on Darryl, but if we'd had league average goaltending to this point we'd win the division and would still be complaining about goaltending. And the crazy thing is we could still make noise if we had a hot goalie who gets on a roll.

Upside: It pays off and the team gains confidence in front of wolf and starts winning

Downside: We continue to lose and improve our draft position

Can we do something already to get us out of the god forsaken middle ground?

Wolf is not gonna save the team. Keep him in the AHL. If there’s a time to bring him in, it’s next year. I don’t want the guy to begin his career believing he has to carry the team into a playoff spot

As much as I want to see Wolf up too, I simply worry about the product in front of him.

Would be a shame to rattle the confidence of our shining star on the farm, AHL goalie of the year 2 years in a row here.

I’d rather he have a chance winning a championship down in the A.
Would you want to play in front of these bums?
Let him stay apart of a winning culture down there and let this toxic group finish it out and clean it out come the off-season.
