That little twerp still has a job? He's on the downward slide of his career already and he can't be more than 30. The bowtie doesn't make him look any older.
Please, nobody egg him on with profanity-laced e-mails. For a guy like him that's better than getting laid.
The worst part of the whole article is this...
On Capitol Hill, the TVs are turned to Fox News. This kind of media environment is what the White House pays attention to," he said.
Yeesh. If that's the truth then it's no wonder they are such a catastrophe.

I hate it when these guys spout off about Canada like that. I'm at a loss for words right now, I could sit here and type what I was feeling but it would be full of a lot of swear words so I won't

Too bad... I kind of liked the little wiener when he was on cross-fire... though it may have just been the sweet bow-ties

Watch that. It'll make the swear words go away. If he weren't such a simpering little rat I might have actually felt sorry for him. That show was cancelled and he was fired not long after this took place.

If he thinks that fine, I just wonder how many ######ed cousins he has that could do as much damage to the American Economy as we could by putting an end to the largest trading partnership in the world? Of course with devestating consequences to ourselves as well.
You think we're ######ed? Fine, Hey China i hear you guys could use some oil and natural gas. Sorry Tucker, we're too ######ed to sell oil to you, enjoy the rolling blackouts, and incredibly high gas prices.
Honestly, people that say things like that are the ones who are ######ed. Plain and simple, we're two countries that are so connected that without one, the other would have one hell of a time surviving. Our resources, and their consumer population are the reasons both counties have done so well economically over the last century, to say either country would be what it is without the other, is just stupid.

Speaking of China, it has now surpassed Canada as the USA's #1 trading partner.

What did anyone expect to happen, people were basically cheering while Paul Martin took a uneducated cheap swipe at the States. The CBC is gleeful in its critisms on the states, and other members of the Canadian media have made a career out of being anti-american, yet when this guy, who is a moron goes on his rant, everyone is up in arms. Whats good for the cat . . .

I love Jon Stewart the guy is funny. I remember the daily show the day after that interview which was also really funny.
In the end the guy is just trying to get people ****ed

Canada bashing is almost as much fun as America bashing.
Buttheads in both countries do it and then the next opinion poll has 70% of Canadians saying Americans are our best friends and ditto the other way.
Explain it? You can't.

I have seen plenty of United States bashing on this board. Having lived in both countries and really liking both countries it is uncalled for bashing either way. They are both great places with little faults. I really can't stand bashing going in either direction espcially when it lumps everyone into one category.

As much as I hate that little bow-tie wearing ass clown, Jon Stewart did come on their show and call them out. I appreciate the philosophy behind that, but Jon should have invited those two boobs onto his show and taken them to school instead.

I disagree. Stewart's show is on in the middle of the night. It's much better to murder them on their own turf in front of their own viewers.
Anyhow...
The sniping goes both ways. It's not like American politicians haven't badmouthed us before for their own political gain. Some of them have gotten miles out of out of buck-passing and saying the 9/11 terrorists came from Canada as one example.
I read in the paper today that some California Republican has proposed a effing fence, an actual physical barrier, to run along the Canada/US border. Obviously this is a proposal on par with putting Kool-Aid in the nation's drinking fountains, but he has to (or thinks he has to) put this crap out there so any dummy that might vote for him doesn't think he has a double standard for the Mexican border.
The funny thing about all of it is that Tucker is bitching about what Canadians have to say and then saying "we don't care about what Canadians say". Good strategy.
Go eat some Freedom Fries, ya pompom waving wimp.

Guys, like seriously, does no one else see this?
Tucker Carlson is like a really good heel wrestler. His job is to **** you off, and get attention. His job isn't to tell the news in the most unbiased way he can, he's supposed to stir the pot.
The mere fact that everyone knows who Tucker Carlson is, and the average person doesn't know who the other guy on Crossfire was goes to prove the point he does his job well.
If you were to laugh at his digs instead of get worked up about them he actually might go away.
I laugh at Tucker Carlson for the same reason I laugh at the bad guy wrestlers. They're just trying to get under your skin. If you know this, you realize how BAD the attempts are.
He called us their ######ed cousin... do you realize how lame of an insult that is? Can you picture that being said on the school yard "yeah, well you're my ######ed cousin!" What's next "I'm rubber, you're glue"?
Lets take off the rose coloured glasses and go watch Rick Mercer's "Talking to Americans".

Didn't you hear? Crossfire has been cancelled for months and Tucker was fired leading to him going to MSNBC which nobody watches. I don't call that doing a good job.

Crossfire was cancelled, Carlson fired, then they put it back on (still on I don't know, I barely watch TV anymore let alone CNN).
No one watches MSNBC yet here we are talking about it
Honestly I'm suprised Fox News hasn't picked him up yet

That little dick-cheese Tucker Carlson likes to use the same self-publicity stunts that Kyan West does, spout off some ignorant comments and get a reaction, it gets his name out there.
