Default January 20, just two games.

Here we go again with a very quiet Friday OOT, this time
with one eastern game and one western game.

I have little to no faith in the Nucks. Expecting a Avs W. Pens are in a similar position to the Flames where they’ve been mediocre and are barely hanging onto the 2nd wildcard spot

Penguins have games in hand though, their situation is better than it looks

It is wide open hockey, the shots are 43-40 in favour of the Penguins. Guentzel has a pair of goals in the Penguins 4-1 lead.

The Avs are getting better as they won their 4th straight game. The Canucks took too many penalties and they suffered because of it. That's on the players and not the coach. Their PK has been brutal in the past few games. The Avs went 2/4 with both PPGs scored on a 2 man advantage. The Canucks PP was 0/4 which means the Avs PK was perfect. Horvat's 9 game point came to an end. A former Canuck, Brandon Hunt, scored for the Avs.

Tristan Jarry's return was a good one as he made 46 saves in the Penguins victory. Talbot did kept the score respectful as he made 40 saves in the loss. Guentzel had 3 points and it is the Pens 11th straight win at home against the Senators.
