Beautiful win, beautiful uniforms. Nice to be able to watch this one at Real Sports in Toronto after a big Raptors win. Great sports night.

Please recheck the xGF% numbers. 69.6% may have been a typo.

Ruzicka continues to look more comfortable game after game, I am a huge Backlund fan… he is so solid all around the ice. Huberdeau was better with Backlund I think. Huberdeau, Backlund looked really good together the games they played. I would like to see,

Ruzicka-Lindholm-Toffoli
Mangiapane-Kadri-Dube
Huberdeau-Backlund-Coleman
Lucic-Lewis-Ritchie

Ruzicka continues to show really nice flashes of offense.

I kinda think they should put Huberdeau with Kadri and put Mangipane with Backlund and Coleman, that line has worked every time

Would look like

Ruz - Lindy - Tof
Hub - Kadri - Dube
Mang - Backs - Coleman

I find myself double checking Cap Friendly to be sure Rudzicka is under contract and does not have arb rights and thankfully we have one more year at 762,000. 13 pts in 14 games. If he played 7 less games last year he'd be a shoe in for the Calder this year! Good thing the cap is set to grow if not this year, then the one after and if this 6'4" 220lb immovable object who can skate and shoot and if he can keep this up, its another mouth to feed.

I was shocked by how good those jerseys looked. I'm becoming a bit of a Ruzicka fan.

I don't see any reason to break up the lines again when some of the players are starting roll.

Ruzicka looks great with Backlund and Huberdeau will turn it around. A lot of passes into his skates and he also handled the puck like a grenade last night but that's been one of the only games his puck skills have been poor.

That was a joke right?

Don't worry limited ice time as a trio, but now down to only 65.5% through 25 minutes and the team's 8th most common trio overall.

(and no I'm not selling that as a high end play driving line with just 25 minutes of work, it will normalize)

Yeah might be the first time in a month where all three top lines are getting looks.

Leave it alone!

Having a guy outperform his contract the way Ruzicka is the key to winning in this league.

Couldn’t believe how invisible Ovechkin was. Obviously he is more sniper than puck carrier but he was an utter non factor.

Ruzicka passed the rookie barrier by three games, too bad, he'd be getting a lot more hype if he still had that rookie label.

Dude is killing it though, looks so comfortable.

When he dropped Jensen in the third ... man hope he gets that he can be that guy.

Didn't even hit him, just held his ground and let the Cap defender deflect off him and fall.

You don't have to be dirty or dangerous to play big, just use your size to protect the puck and create options.

And he looks like a monster in black.

Yeah and reach is an underrated hockey skill that can be very effective.

The NFL and NBA love to measure arm length for prospects as it is huge for rebounding (nba) and leverage (nfl). Seems like a big deal for hockey players toowhen it comes to stickhandling, blocking lanes, puck battles etc.

I would not have predicted Kylington and Ruzicka as the breakout players from last two years.

They shut Ovie down. He was left with nothing last night.

Not kidding at all. No idea where you got that number. It seems to contradict all the data I've looked at.
